PlayStation PreOrders
Sony PlayStation is always coming out with new things, whether they be platforms, devices, or games. This past year alone was the PlayStation Move and Xperia Play. At E3, they revealed a few more things that I know I’m going to pre-order (heck, I already did pre-order one of them).
The first one that is available for pre-order is the PlayStation Vita. It is a successor to the PSP, and features brand new technology. The PS Vita has a multi-touch touch-screen, a touch-pad back panel, and several other new gadgets. Dual facing cameras can add dimensions of your life (like your face or sky line) into a game to augment reality, which is why Sony named it after the Latin word for Life, Vita.
The Vita is sure to sell out during the holiday 2011 phased release, so make sure to pre-order your own.
Another device I’m going to pre-order is the PlayStation 3D Monitor. Not only does the 3D Display play in 3D, it can use the 3D overlay technology to produce full-screens for split-screening gamers. They will see unique, full-screens rather than being able to peek at their split-screeners, which is awesome for gamers everywhere.
Starting at 24″, we hope they increase the size overtime. It will come in a $499 bundle including Resistance 3, a pair of 3D glasses, and an HDMI cord.
Another device to come out next year is the line of Sony Tablets. It should have PlayStation branding, and seems like another ground-breaking piece of technology.
